Bauma 2010 PB will present the NEW Scissor Range 4x4 Rough Terrain based on the well known PB concept..

The series currently contains 12 models:

Top19 4x4 (1.90 m wide) as an electric or diesel
with working heights of 13, 15 and 17 m
The platform capacity ranges from 500 to 750 kg

TOP24 4x4 (2.40 m wide) as an electric or diesel
with working heights of 17, 20 and 23 m
The Platform capacity ranges from 750 kg to 1.200 kg

At Bauma, the first S151-19E 4x4 already fitted for Customer will be at display. With 455Ah / 5 at 48V the Scissor is ready and well prepared for a hard day's work in the rough terrain. The 16kW strong electro-hydraulic drive system corresponds to a 25-30kW diesel engine. By a gear torque of 5,500 Nm are over 30% gradeability available.
 
Innovation @ 4x4
"Off-road capability is a wide concept, ranging from four wheels drive through oscillating axle rigid drive to an optional levelling. In dialogue with the innovative rental companies and end-users  PB-4x4 series is designed as a "Fully Rough Terrain" concept - with decisive advantages:

• Alternative drive: Powerful diesel or emission free and quiet electric drive for use indoors and outdoors
• 80 degree steering angle for extreme maneuverability
• controllable active oscillating axle (front) for up to 250 mm levelling
• individually height-adjustable rear axle for up to 380 mm levelling
• the axes, are leveled both in singles as well as in automatic mode. An additional leveling is not necessary..

This "Fully Rough Terrain" 4x4 concept offers compared to conventional versions of two key factors for a rough terrain site suitability:

a) at maneuvering all 4 wheels have nearly permanent contact with the ground and this gives you constantly  full traction.
b) through the constant leveling during driving more than 80% of the levelling is already achieved. This minimizes the rest of the leveling process to happened with few seconds and then the platform can be raised.

With the 788 mm wide "Non Marking" - tires (foam), the 4x4 series is equipped for both indoor and outdoor use even in rough terrain..

The PB 4x4 series provides the user with compact dimensions and big platforms in one: the mega-deck has a length of 6.20 m (Top19) and 7.20 m (TOP24).

Top19 with 4.23 m total length, 80 ° degree steering and a turning radius of only 3.95m.
TOP24 with 4.85 m total length, 80 ° degree steering and a turning radius of only 4.55 m.


In 2004 PB successfully introduced the Top12 and Top16 scissor lifts series and with the new series PB offers:
